I’m Samantha Sinclair, the face behind the camera. Mother to one rowdy, wondrous little boy who keeps myself and my amazing partner in crime on our toes. I have always been a lover of the arts, attending the University of Arizona college of Fine Arts where I studied 2 dimensional design (drawing/painting) and discovered my enthusiasm for photography. My passion began in 35mm film photography learning the fundamentals, understanding how light is used to develop beautiful images, and processing in the darkroom. Continuing to expand my exploration of photography into digital art. I have turned my passion into something I can share with others capturing your genuine moments of joy and precious memories with those you love most.

The Experience
insight to my methods
When I was growing up I had this picture of my sister, dad and myself. It was my absolute favorite, I carried it with me everywhere and every time I looked at it, it made me smile. It wasn’t a professional photo, where we were dressed elegantly, posed precisely, and edited to perfection. It was a moment, a moment when my sister and I sat in a photo booth being silly and unsuspectingly were surprised by our dad popping his head in and making a silly face causing us both to laugh and in that moment capturing true joy.
This is what I want to capture for everyone that steps in front of my lens, real moments of laughter and joy.
What to expect
It may not be your usual photo experience and I’m not your usual photographer. During our session posing will be minimal, we will play games, say silly things and create moments together. I won’t be asking you to look at the camera and say cheese. Don’t worry about your little adventurers wanting to explore, you won’t need to try to get them to sit perfectly still and give forced smiles. As a mamma to a wild little one who can’t stay still for 5 minutes, I have learned all the tricks, and will have your kiddos on my team laughing and having a great time. I want to capture the connections between you and your loved ones in the most genuine fashion. You will have photos of natural smiles and a day filled with memories to cherish and look back on for years to follow.
